Part-Time Employment
A part-time employee is someone who generally works less than full time on a permanent basis, or for the period of a contract.
The minimum entitlements under that apply to part-time employees, including paid sick leave and paid annual leave on a pro-rata basis. This means that their entitlements are dependent on how much they work.
For example, if someone works half the amount of time a full-time person works they are entitled to half of the full-time entitlement.
