Stalking

In India stalking is punishable when a man stalks a woman, and not the other way around. The Indian Penal Code defines stalking as the act of a man following a woman either physically or via electronic means when a woman doesn’t want to foster an interpersonal relationship. In India, someone who is caught stalking for the first time risks being punished with a jail term of three years and a fine, and if they are caught for any subsequent offence, they can be punishad with a jail term of five years and a fine.
